Sancho Admits His Future Is Undecided Despite Transfer Rumours

England and Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho has revealed his future has not yet been decided despite rumours linking him away from Signal Iduna.

Sancho is reportedly a key transfer target for many top clubs in Europe with Manchester United said to be in pole position to secure his services.

The Englishman had a fantastic 2019/2020 season with the Bundesliga outfit where he scored 20 goals and provided 20 assists in 44 games in all competitions.

Many teams hope of signing a player of Sancho’s quality have been dented due to the negative impact of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The 20-year-old was asked about his future in an interview with reporters and he was fairly coy despite admitting his future is still shrouded in doubt.

“I don’t know what to say to that,” the Manchester City academy graduate told World Soccer Magazine

“It’s hard to say. That’s the future.”

“You never know what could happen, so we will wait and see.”

Sancho was further asked about his idols when growing up and he mentioned former Liverpool winger John Barnes and Brazil icon Ronaldinho.

“My dad was a big fan of John Barnes. He had a couple of videos of him at home and I used to watch them a lot.”

“I used to look at Ronaldinho on YouTube. That was a big thing for me. He used to try things that no-one else would try and that made me like him a lot.”

“I didn’t have a team that I supported, though. I just idolized a lot of great players.”
