Lukaku Completes Move To Inter Milan
Romelu Lukaku has completed his move away from Manchester United to Serie A giants Inter Milan for a reported fee of €80 million (£73m).
The Belgian forward was said to be angling for a move to the Serie A after the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer limited his appearances for the first team, playing scond fiddle to Marcus Rashford.
The former Everton player becomes Inter Milan's record signing.
Lo Celso Joins Tottenham On Loan
Argentine mifielder Giovani Lo Celso has joined Tottenham Hotspurs on loan from Spanish side Real Betis.
The left-footed winger becomes Spurs' third acquisition of the window following the arrivals of Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke, who was immediately loaned back to Leeds United.
Kieran Tierney Joins Arsenal From Celtic
Celtic younster Kieran Tierney has joined Arsenal for a reported fee said to be in the region of £25 million.
Signing the 22-year-old, Arsenal manager Unai Emery stressed;
"We’re delighted Kieran is joining us. He’s a very talented player who will continue to improve.
"He increases our options defensively and I look forward to him joining our group."
Newcastle Re-sign Andy Carrol
Newcastle have resigned Andy Carrol with the tall striker said to have penned an initial one-year deal.
"It feels very good. My friends and family are here, and it’s the club that I support – it is home,” said Carroll.
“I enjoyed the time I spent here, and hopefully I can carry on where I left off. When I left eight-and-a-half years ago, I was scoring goals and I was enjoying my football. It’s been a pretty tough time since then, and I just want to get back to that.
“I know it’s home. I’ve played here, I’ve spoken to the fans – I am a fan – and my family is here. For me to get back to where I was, I think this is the only place for me.”
Tottenham Sign Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham
Tottenham have signed Rayn Sessegnon from Fulham in a player-plus cash deal that sees Josh Onomah move the opposite way.
The Lily Whites are expected to pay Fulham £25 million for the services of the 19-year-old winger as he becomes Mauricio Pochettino's fourth summer signing.
