Neymar recently have been linked with a return to his former side Barcelona following the uncertainties surrounding his future at Paris Saint-Germain.
And Tebas believes the playmaker, who was involved in a number of controversial incidents last season, will be a bad example to the Spanish game if he returns to Barcelona.
"I'd rather Neymar didn't come to LaLiga because he's not a good example. [He'd only be good for the league] if he behaves better.
"He can be a great player, but behaviour is also very important in terms of the values we try to put across.
“We always have to bring great players to LaLiga, but in Neymar's case, this behaviour isn't good for the competition because it's about if the player has done this or that.
"We've worked hard at LaLiga to maintain [certain] values and we don't want to change this image."
After expressing his disapproval to the Brazilian forward's potential LaLiga return, Tebas also spoke on the financial fair play rule which could be a major factor in brokering a deal for the former Santos man.
“To be able to afford this signing while complying with financial fair play, Barcelona would have to let another player go. It will depend on the price."
Having spent four season at Barcelona, Neymar completed his mega-money move of €222 million to French giants Pais Saint-Germain in 2017.
Spending just two seasons at the Parc de Princes, the 27-year-old has helped the club win two consecutive Ligue 1 titles, but has failed to glitter in Europe, putting the side on the wait for their maiden Champions League title.
