Ronaldo Hints On Retirement Plans

Ronaldo Hints On Retirement Plans

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has disclosed his plans on life after football, insisting he could be out of the sports in the next couple of years.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward insists he always delight in entertaining the people of football, as he rules out the idea that his age could force him to hang-up his boots prematurely.

Discussing of a possible retirement in the years ahead, Ronaldo claimed being successful has always been his higher mark than concentrating too much on training, targeting a fortunate life after his football career.

“I still love football,” said Ronaldo said in an interaction with SportBible.

“I love to entertain the fans and the people who love Cristiano Ronaldo. It doesn’t matter the age, it’s all about mentality. “The last five years I start to enjoy this process of seeing me outside of football, so who knows what will happen in the next year or two?” the five-time Ballon d’Or winner added.

“I’m not a crazy man.

“I’m not obsessed with training, I’m obsessed with success, which is completely different.

“I hope to achieve more in football in the next few years, and then I will consider whether I should leave.

“Everyone has pressure. It’s how you deal with the pressure that matters,” he said.

“It has taken many years of hard work, dedication and passion to achieve what I have in football

“Outside of football I’m not there yet, but I’m a competitive guy and I don’t like to be the number two or number three. I always want to be number one. I will do it, 100 per cent.”
