Mourinho Happy With Spurs’ Performance Against Burnley

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has revealed his satisfaction following his side’s 5-0 win against Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.

Spurs suffered their first defeat under Mourinho against Manchester United at old Trafford on Wednesday.

The North Londoners took only four minutes to find the back of the net against the Clarets at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham have now won four of their first five matches under Mourinho, and the Portuguese coach called it ‘a perfect day’ after their big win against Burnley.

"A perfect day. No injuries, a clean sheet, goals, perfect football, kids coming on for first Premier League football,” the 56-year-old said.

He added: “Sean Dyche is always honest band told me after the game we were too good for them. I thank him for that.

“They are difficult to play against but we were too good. It wasn't them that were bad.”

"Finally the boys get a day off tomorrow that I've not been able to give them yet.”

Son Heung Min scored a wonderful solo goal in the first half and the former Chelsea manager has likened the South Korean’s goal to what he saw from Ronaldo Nazario during his time at Barcelona.

"Son's is a tremendous goal. Harry's two outside the box and the pass for the Moussa goal. A couple of better passes or choices we could have had more.”

"I remember when I was at Barcelona with Mr. Robson and Ronaldo Nazario scored a goal that is similar to Son's. And this was an amazing goal.”

“I know that he is going to reach the face of the keeper and the control he is unstoppable. The keeper is good, though, but he managed to put it in."
